Van Mahotsav, week-long festival of tree plantation was organized at Kohinoor Blossoms. It was an attempt to lend a green touch to the school environment and sensitize our children about their role in conserving trees. The celebration was an ideal opportunity to instil the value of social responsibility in children towards safeguarding trees and planting more trees.
Audio visuals, puppet show, group discussions and art activity was a part of the celebration wherein our little arms hugged a tree. They took part in the plantation drive along with Mrs. Deepali Nene (Principal of Kohinoor International School), Mrs. Karishma Rohera (In-charge of Kohinoor Blossoms) and other staff members who planted more than 13 Ashoka trees and created a kitchen garden, sowing seeds of Tomato, Cucumber, Okra(lady’s finger) , Egg plant ( Brinjal) and Green chillies. The celebration was towards forming a personal connect between our small hands planting trees with a process of experience
